A number should make things simpler
Our score asks about settling, waking, temperature comfort, restoration and daily impact. Each answer gets equal weight. The method is deliberately visible: 100 minus five times the total of five difficulty ratings from zero to four. That is a product design choice, not a clinical standard.
Your snapshot and your diary are different
The first result is your recollection of the last seven nights. A diary is a set of individual morning check-ins. We keep them separate. The diary result averages only completed entries from the latest seven mornings. It never fills missing nights with invented answers.
Choose curiosity over a streak
You can miss a day. You can correct an entry. You can decide that today is a day to leave the tracker alone. We do not use lost-streak warnings, red failure badges or a perfect-score target. A high score cannot rule out a health issue; a low one cannot establish one.
Notice, do not diagnose
You might observe that several nights included both waking and heat discomfort. That is something you reported, not evidence that one caused the other. Seven entries are also too little information to promise that a routine change worked. Bring patterns and uncertainties to a healthcare conversation.
Keep the free part useful
Your diary and downloadable story do not depend on a subscription. The optional paid offer adds structure and education. It does not turn the score into a medical test. If sleep is concerning or affects daily life, a clinician can help decide what deserves attention.
One question to try
After a week, ask: “What do I understand better, and what would I like help understanding?” That question is more useful here than “Did I win at sleep?”
